Lithium battery testing equipment

The ongoing energy transition has resulted in an unprecedented surge in demand for lithium-based batteries, presenting both a challenge and an opportunity for the battery industry.

To help our customers navigate this transformation, we have decided to address the weakest point in the lithium battery manufacturing process: even after decades of research, safety is still a serious concern due to the highly flammable electrolyte used in this kind of batteries. In fact, the issue has been made worse in recent years due to the increased proportion of nickel found in some types of EV batteries.

Our comprehensive testing systems are based on the United Nations' UN 38.3, the International Electrotechnical Commission's IEC 62133 and other relevant international standards. In addition to the most common procedures (altitude simulation, thermal test, vibration and shock test, external and internal short circuit test, impact and crush test, overcharge and forced discharge), we also offer custom-made solutions for manufacturers with specific needs or requirements.
